Explore self-healing modalities that are effective and profoundly liberating when combating the debilitating effects of stress and anxiety. Learn breathwork, meditation and gentle movement techniques that help to break the psychological, biochemical, and physical cycles that keep stress and anxiety in your life. A presentation of what happens in your mind and body while experiencing anxiety, and tools to “turn off” the fight or flight response, and “turn on” the relaxation response will be taught in the first class.
We will utilize the tools of Asana (yoga postures), Pranayama (breath work), Mudra (hand gestures), Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep/Rest), Meditation and Nutrition, If you suffer from anxiety, whether it is situational or long-term chronic, this clinic will give you tools to empower yourself to heal from the inside out, and lessen the effects that anxiety has on your mind and body.
